The FDA focuses its research and studies on major issues and electoral processes. Moreover, the FDA has a long-term goal of setting up FDA citizen evaluation committees across Canada and throughout the world. It is a belief of the FDA that the cause of democratic advancement is important because democratic systems determine who are the political representatives, and what are the policies of government and laws of society, and how public monies are spent.
